Kitchen fitting in Blackpool

Precision Joinery and Tiling fits kitchens across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Craig is a qualified joiner who has spent over twenty years fitting units, worktops, splashbacks and floors. One team handles everything from strip out to snagging, so there is no waiting around between trades.

Fitted by a joiner, not a kitchen salesman

We fit kitchens across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, from a straight replacement in a terrace off Whitegate Drive to a full open-plan knock-through with an island. Craig is a joiner first, which is why the doors line up, the end panels sit flush to the wall and the worktop joints are still tight two years later.

You can supply the units yourself or we will price them alongside the fitting. Either way you get one team for the strip out, first fix, fitting, tiling and flooring, and a single point of contact from start to finish.

What kitchen fitting includes

Every kitchen is quoted from a measured site visit, but this covers what a full installation normally includes. Nothing is hidden in a separate line.

  • Old kitchen stripped out and taken away
  • Walls made good, plastering arranged if needed
  • First fix plumbing and electrics coordinated
  • Units built, levelled and scribed to the wall
  • Worktops fitted, templated for stone surfaces
  • Sink, taps and waste connected and tested
  • Splashback tiling, grouting and silicone finished
  • Plinths, cornice, pelmet and end panels fitted

Kitchen fitting in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast

We fit shaker, in-frame, handleless slab, matt lacquer and traditional timber kitchens. Galley layouts, L-shapes, U-shapes, islands and open-plan knock-throughs. We work with whichever supplier you have chosen rather than pushing you towards one we earn a margin on. If you bring a plan from a kitchen designer, we will review it before anything is ordered and flag anything that looks fine on screen but does not work in a real room.

Islands, plinth LED strips, under-cabinet lighting, wireless charging pads and extraction through an induction hob are all things we fit regularly. They all need first fixing before the plaster goes on, which is why the electrics conversation happens at the quote stage rather than halfway through the job. We also handle LVT, floor tiles and all the second fix joinery so the room is genuinely finished when we leave.

What to expect during your kitchen installation

We give you a written programme with your quote so you know which days are noisy, which day the water is off and roughly when you will have your sink back. Strip out is usually one day. Units and worktops follow in sequence. Tiling and flooring come last once the carcasses are confirmed level and straight.

How the kitchen fitting process works

We start with a free measured site visit. The quote is written up and itemised so you can see what the fitting costs, what the tiling costs and what the flooring costs. Once accepted, we agree a start date, stage the materials delivery and carry out the work in a logical sequence. Final sign-off happens with you before we leave.

Why Precision Joinery and Tiling fits kitchens in Blackpool

Joinery skills where they matter most

Kitchens look right or wrong based on whether the person fitting them can actually use a saw, a chisel and a scriber. Craig trained as a joiner and has fitted hundreds of kitchens. The doors are level, the panels are scribed and the worktop joints are cut properly, not filled with silicone and hoped for.

Tiling done by the same team

Most kitchen fitters subcontract the splashback tiling and wait for a separate trade to become available. We do the tiling ourselves. That means no scheduling gap between the units going in and the wall being finished, and one person responsible if anything does not line up as planned.

One fixed price, no surprises

The quote covers everything agreed at the site visit. If something unexpected comes up, say a wall that turns out to be in a worse state than it looked, we tell you the cost before we do the extra work, not after. The programme is written down and we stick to it.

What customers say

Verified reviews

Cannot rate Craig enough. He has done an amazing job of tiling my bathroom floor after another plumber botched the job of fitting the bathroom. Highly recommend Craig and really looking forward to having him back to do some more jobs in my house. Really nice guy and fantastic work.

Craig has recently hung some oak doors for us. We were really delighted with the workmanship and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

I phoned Craig desperately wanting some help with fitting my bathroom. He was very quick to respond, gave me a quote within a couple of days and was most helpful with picking the best boards and flooring. He is very genuine, honest and always puts 100 per cent into his work.

Questions

Kitchen fitting questions answered

Do you supply the kitchen units or do I need to buy them myself?

You can do either. Most customers buy their own units from a supplier they have already chosen, and we fit them. If you would prefer to deal with one company, we can price the units, worktop and appliances alongside the fitting so everything comes as a single quote. We work with Howdens, Wren, Magnet, Benchmarx, Wickes and independent kitchen companies.

How long does kitchen fitting in Blackpool normally take?

Most kitchens take between five days and three weeks on site. A like-for-like replacement in the same layout is usually around one week. Moving the sink, changing the room layout, taking out a wall or adding new flooring throughout pushes the programme towards two or three weeks. We give you a written schedule with every quote.

Can you fit a kitchen bought from Howdens, Wren or B&Q?

Yes. We fit units from any supplier. Before the strip out we check your delivery list against the design plan, because missing panels or the wrong-size filler pieces are the most common reason a kitchen job stalls halfway through.

Will we be without a working kitchen for the whole job?

No. We leave the old sink and a run of worktop live for as long as possible. Connecting the new sink is one of the first tasks once the carcasses are in. Most customers have running water again within a day or two of the new units going up.

Do you tile the splashback and lay the floor as well?

Yes. Tiling is one of our own trades, so the splashback, floor tiles and LVT are part of the same job, the same team and the same quote. You are not waiting three weeks for a separate tiler to become free.

Do you handle the plumbing and electrics?

Yes. We coordinate the first and second fix plumbing and electrical work through the tradespeople we use on every job. It is included in the quote and managed by us, so you have one point of contact rather than three separate contractors to chase.

What does kitchen fitting in Blackpool cost?

Fitting cost depends on the number of units, whether the layout is changing, which worktop material you have chosen and how much making-good the old kitchen leaves behind. We price every job from a measured survey rather than a rate per unit, and the quote is itemised so you can see exactly where each pound goes.

Ready to price your kitchen?

Send us your plan or just the room measurements. Craig will visit, check everything works and put a fixed written price in front of you. No obligation, no hard sell.
