Why people call Craig back
The finish is the whole job
Anyone can hang a door. Hanging it so the gap runs even from top to bottom, so it shuts with one push and still shuts the same way in three winters, is a different skill. That is the part we care about, and it is the part customers notice every single day.
It is the same with tiling. Most bad tiling is not bad cutting, it is bad setting out. Start in the wrong place and you finish with a two centimetre sliver of tile against the most visible wall in the room.
- Set out and measured before anything is cut
- Materials talked through with you, not guessed at
- Floors and furniture protected, site swept daily
- The same faces on site from day one to sign off
- Snagged and signed off together before the balance is due
How a job runs
Four steps, no surprises
Step 01
Ring or message
Tell us roughly what you are after. We will say straight away whether it is something we do and when we could look at it.
Step 02
Visit and measure
Craig comes out, takes proper measurements and talks through materials, layouts and what is realistic in the space.
Step 03
Written quote
Itemised in writing, usually within a couple of days. A fixed price you can compare, not a day rate that drifts.
Step 04
Fitted and signed off
Agreed start date, tidy site, and a walk round together at the end. Anything not right gets put right before we invoice.

Every review left for Precision Joinery & Tiling has been a recommendation. Here are three of them, word for word.
Cannot rate Craig enough. He has done an amazing job of tiling my bathroom floor after another plumber botched the job of fitting the bathroom. Highly recommend Craig and really looking forward to having him back to do some more jobs in my house. Really nice guy and fantastic work.
Craig has recently hung some oak doors for us. We were really delighted with the workmanship and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.
I phoned Craig desperately wanting some help with fitting my bathroom. He was very quick to respond, gave me a quote within a couple of days and was most helpful with picking the best boards and flooring. He is very genuine, honest and always puts 100 per cent into his work.
